The wine tradition in the Évora region dates back to time immemorial. The Charter [Foral] that D. Manuel I bestowed on the city in 1501 bears witness to this. The Adega Cartuxa [Cartuxa Winery] joins the taste of history to the unique art of this wine, in an edition evocative of the Charter [Foral].
This wine is produced from the Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Aragonez varieties, aged in new French oak barrels. Very fruity, it has great concentration and exuberance, typical of its youth.
It was produced for the first time in 2000.
